Want to have a heater that’ll only cost you a few cents a day? You can if you use this trick!

Super cheap heating

Heating isn’t always cheap, but in the middle of winter it’s definitely a necessity. Unfortunately, central heating or a gas heater all cost money. Electricity or gas are the obvious options, but they can be quite expensive. That’s why we’ve found a handy alternative for you!

So, what kind of stuff do you need for this trick? Not all that much, really. The things you need are two traditional terracotta flower pots, some tea lights and a metal container (like a loaf tin). This is all you need to very easily make your own DIY heater.

Place four tea lights in the metal container, light them and place the smaller flower pot on top. Cover the whole of the pot with a metal case of another tea light. The next step is to place the larger flower pot over the smaller one. Wait for a few minutes, and you’ll notice it’ll start to get warmer. This way, you’ve got yourself a heater that will heat an entire room for only 8 pence a day!
